ABOUT ASHA STUDIO

I’m your photographer, Andrea.

I photograph with the belief that we all want to feel seen—softly, truly, without performing. My work is rooted in light, honesty, and quiet observation. Whether I'm photographing a person, a brand, or a flower at golden hour, I’m chasing the same thing: a moment that feels like recognition.

I am a photographer and a master’s level social worker. That means I don’t just notice light—I notice people. I notice emotion, body language, the things we try to hide and the things we wish someone would witness. Asha Studio was born from the desire to capture these moments. I want my images to feel like memory, like affirmation, like proof that you were here and you mattered. “Asha” means “hope” in Hindi — a word I hold close, not just in meaning, but in name. It’s my middle name, and one I feel deeply connected to. I see hope as both a practice and a way of being. Asha Studio is a reflection of that: a rebirth into a fuller version of myself — one that honors abundance, strength, joy, and the quiet beauty of daily life.

I am a Minnesota native and Minneapolis-based photographer. My photography explores the intimacy of fleeting gestures, the color stories found in everyday life - making the ordinary feel sacred and I can't wait to work with you!
