ABOUT ASHA STUDIO

I’m your photographer, Andrea.

I photograph with the belief that we all want to feel seen—softly, truly, without performing. My work is rooted in light, honesty, and quiet observation. Whether I'm photographing a person, a brand, or a flower at golden hour, I’m chasing the same thing: a moment that feels like recognition.

I am a photographer and a master’s level social worker. That means I don’t just notice light—I notice people. I notice emotion, body language, the things we try to hide and the things we wish someone would witness. Asha Studio was born from the desire to capture these moments. I want my images to feel like memory, like affirmation, like proof that you were here and you mattered. I help people create portraits that feel like fine art — paired with a reflective experience that tells their deeper story.

In Hindi Asha means “hope” — a word I hold close, not just in meaning, but in name. It’s my middle name, and one I feel deeply connected to as a mother, adoptee, and intentional community member. I see hope as both a practice and a way of being. Asha Studio is a reflection of that: a rebirth into a fuller version of myself — one that honors abundance, strength, joy, and the beauty of daily life and the stories that live behind our faces. Asha Studio creates fine art portraits that go beyond the image — merging artistry, self-reflection, and storytelling to craft intentional works of art that live as both personal treasures and cultural statements.

I can't wait to work with you!
